We would like to give a warm welcome to Christa and Soorya!! Christa received her bachelor’s degree from Fayetteville State University in Biology and started working with the Iweala team in August for her post-bach; concentrating in microbiology and infectious disease research. Soorya is a junior at the University of North Carolina studying biology, who has also joined us this August. She is a biol 395 student hoping to gain research experience as well as help the Iweala team further their knowledge on Alpha-gal syndrome. We are so happy to have them in the lab and are looking forward to seeing all their progress and contributions to our research.
